Having watched progressives and liberals alike spend an inordinate amount of time misrepresenting libertarians and the philosophical tenets of its principles, I can but conclude they're the real extremists.
There's nothing 'extremist' in what libertarians are trying to accomplish in Washington. In fact, it's extremely sad and pathetic watching the left (along with their conservative brethren) protect the status quo from the war on drugs that destroys the lives of too many people for nothing, the war on poverty to failed economic policies, to the rise of the police state.
The new breed of young politicians have the will, passion and courage to challenge the hideousness of modern American politics.
They should be encouraged; not dismissed or chastised.
Those who take valid concerns and claim to be extremist views are the losers - and pose the real threat to liberty.
